"A new journal from the former editors of ‘Restorative Justice: An International Journal! IJRJ features articles about restorative justice. After an ‘Editorial’ by a leading restorative justice expert, each issue of the journal includes a number of academic peer-reviewed articles on original and current research on theoretical, practice and policy developments. Besides the manifold empirical and theoretical academic studies, the journal also contains ‘Notes from the Field’ in which experts representing different approaches or parts of the world debate on a practice, a model or a recent development. There are then ‘Conversations’ with a prominent restorative justice personality worldwide. Finally a vibrant book review section examines the most recent or important restorative justice publications.
The journal’s aim is to contribute to the development of restorative justice by discussing its multiple, diverse, challenging and innovative facets, as well as to encourage fruitful discussions and debates. The International Journal of Restorative Justice will appeal to academics and researchers, to practitioners and policy-makers, and to those who want to keep up to date with the rapid developments in the field of restorative justice."
